If the candidate is of Portuguese nationality the document requested is:

• ‘Atestado de Residência’ issued by the local administration office (Junta de Freguesia).

If the candidate is a citizen from the European Union (non-Portuguese nationality), the document requested is:

• ‘Certificado de registo de cidadão da União Europeia’ issued by the City Hall of residence in Portugal (Câmara Municipal); or
• 'Certificado de residência permanente para a União Europeia’ issued by the Immigration and Borders Service - SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras).

If the candidate is a citizen from another country, the document requested is:

• ‘Título de residência’ issued by the Immigration and Borders Service - SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras).
